Students find a platform to develop their personality and they get benefited from the extra-curricular activities such as Speech Competition, Debate Competition and other relevant programmes. To create standards for national competition and to boost students’ confidence level, Communication Skills and Public Speech Forum arranged this Debate Competition.

Two different topics were given to the students to present their oratory skills -
1. Films on TV programmes-Good or Bad?
2. Boys are Higher Achiever than Girls

Participation of students from all the courses was remarkable 9 students participated in this Speech Completion. All speakers should share their main arguments. Other team members must bring up any flaws and how they can be fixed. Both teams focused on how their side will approach presenting convincing arguments and counter-arguments.

The faculty members Mr. Ganesh Pawar from Department of English and Ms. Priyanka Padkanthwar from Department of English were invited as the Examiner of this competition. The contestants of this competition were observed on the scale of 20 (Marks) on different parameters such as Language, Presentation, Subject Knowledge and Audience Response.

The toppers of the competition were identified namely Kaur Simran of BBA FY (First), Deshmukh Shashank of B. Sc. CS TY (Second), Birajdar Sukanya of B. Sc. CS FY (Third) and they were given the prizes on the occasion of Republic Day i.e. 26th January 2019 at the auspicious hands of the President Hon. Dr. M. R. Patil Sir, Hon. Dr. N. S. Zulpe Sir and the Vice-Principal of the college. The coordinator of this Coopetition, Mr. K. R. Jadhav handed over all the details of the competition to the Vice-Principal. All the staff members and students were invited for the Prize Distribution Ceremony held on 26th January at 10.30 am in Seminar Hall. The response and the enthusiasm of the audience present for the programme motivated and inspired the rankers of the different competition.
